What BRAINWORM is

One live simulation of a real larva's nervous system: the published wiring of a three-day-old marine worm, Platynereis dumerilii, with 2,675 cells, 14,066 connections and 26,881 synapses, run by a simple model that drives a simulated swimming body. There is one worm, on the server, and everyone sees the same one. Anyone can show it a message, which reaches its eyes as light, or poke it.

Every browser re-runs it and checks the server's state hash every second.

What SPAWN is

The launchpad at /spawn. Every coin launched there is a pump.fun coin: it trades on pump.fun's bonding curve and moves to PumpSwap when the curve sells out. Every coin names SPAWN's rewards wallet as its pump.fun creator.

• pump.fun's fees. Currently 1.25% of each trade on the curve: 0.95% to pump.fun and 0.30% to the coin's creator. pump.fun sets them and can change them.
• Creator rewards go to SPAWN. SPAWN is every coin's creator, so its creator rewards, on the curve and on PumpSwap after graduation, go to SPAWN, not to the coin's launcher. 64% of them buy $WORM, and all of that $WORM is burned; 36% stays with the team.
• Every coin hatches its own worm. A fresh copy of the same larva, whose first sight is the coin's ticker. It feels only that coin's trades, and any browser can rebuild it and check it. Each buy also pokes the live worm, at a spot picked from the coin's address.
• Your keys stay yours. The server never holds anyone's keys: your wallet signs every transaction.

• The live check

  Your browser runs its own copy of the worm and compares state hashes with the server every second. It runs in the Proof section of the main page.

• The log

  /log/current.jsonl is this hour's log: every stimulus, at the step it happened. Earlier hours are listed at /log/index.json.

• Replay

  npm run replay -- https://this-site/log/current.jsonl re-runs a log with a copy of this code and checks every published result. The main page's Replay button does the same in your browser.

• The manifest

  /manifest.json lists every number the model uses, marked measured or chosen, with the SHA-256 of the wiring and of the simulation's code.

• A coin's worm

  /spawn/worm/<mint>.json lists its ticker, every trade in order and its state hash. shared/coinworm.js rebuilds it; the Check button on each coin does that in your browser.

All the code is below: every file the site runs, with its SHA-256.

Not listed: the wiring data, served as it is at /data/, the pictures, and the chat's blocklist. To check a copy of the code, save the SHA-256 list and run shasum -a 256 -c on it.
